I want my iOffice on the firt floor near the intake doors.
I am directing all iMPD employees at i201 Poplar to test everyone brought in for reading skills. We will utilize our iLibrary system to provide appropriate reading for our prisoners, whom I will refer to as guests until convicted.
Thos that cannot read will be offered the opportunity to be taught. Those that refuse will be read to.
Although dated and lengthy it can be viewed as offensive. I do not think the lady who wrote it was trying to be offensive especially in 1900, and her being Afro American. I think it can be viewed in the historical realm without offense, but I do not think the poster on the other site was trying to be intellectual. Merely a racist and being malicious.
I've read it, and there are many good things from said post, but... we don't want that kind of stuff here. It's a FUN site with no bickering, no tension, no hatred/prejudice, etc...
There are other places for those discussions.
This site is for us to create a place we wish we could live in, complete with nice people (which we do have) and all the businesses/fun places we all like, too!
If you like, you could make up an iname so we could be your friend, too!
I do have some spare time, but this really doesn't take that long once you figure it out.
And actually, I'm just the opposite of bored. I work four jobs and have the obligatory house/etc. that needs to be taken care of.
However, this is a fun thing for me to do, because I enjoy interacting with other people with good senses of humor with positive outlooks on life. It's helped me keep a positive outlook on "real" life in our rival city. I know from this site and other places that there are many, many nice people out there!

We just got sick of all the crime and corruption in our rival city. We started the concept of our city on the CA blogs. iMemphis is an extension of that outlet.
Ladydonald: We are waiting on the last coat of paint to dry. Everything looks just perfect. The contractors can be paid as soon as you get the invoice.

I agree with Robi- this is a fun forum/blog, not a political one.
There is no room here for anything but niceness and fun!
Not to mention- there is no racial tension here, or any other kind.
Regardless of race, sex, religion, or sexual preference we all respect each other and get along.
That is why iMemphis is so much better than our rival city! Respect!

When is the remodel going to be completed? I want to make sure that the iTreasury pays the contractors on schedule.
